PlayWest harnesses games technology to solve real world problems. We also develop serious-games, local multiplayer games and virtual or augmented reality projects.
As an Enterprise Studio at UWEBristol we collaborate with students, graduates and academics across a broad range of paid-projects, often with high-profile clients. Recent projects include VR factory design for RollsRoyce and a real-time telemetry for the BloodhoundSSC land speed record team.
Our game concepts have tackled water networks, cyber-security, food-waste, air-quality and antibiotic resistance and we still find time for our commercial game projects such as ‘Kachiku64’ (our 64-player local party game), and “The Breakfast Club” (our crazy glitch-physics-based cooking game) that has just been ‘green lit’ on Steam and featured by Yogcast.
